Every Friday EP 3 will have a 15 word spelling test. If they haven’t already, all students are to buy a spelling book in the store at VCS. The cost is 15 baht.

Everyone has adjusted well to their new classes and their new teachers. The students are getting along well!
This week there are a couple deadlines. VCS is offering flu vaccines for all students. If your child had a shot last year, they only need one this year. If your child has never had a flu shot, they are required to get two for the vaccine to have full effect. The cost is 420 baht for one shot of the vaccine. Please check your child’s bag for the notice that went home. It is due back on Friday with money enclosed.
Also Friday is the deadline for students to pay and sign up for after school club. Students may only participate in one club per semester.

Are you ready for the new Term?! I’m sure the students are eager to see their friends and meet their new teachers. My name is Lindsay. This will be my third year at VCS. I will be the EP 3 Blue Homeroom teacher, as well as the EP3 Blue and Red English and CAT teacher. The blog will be updated at least once a week by me and it will inform you of any special events or notices concerning the school.
Please supply your child(ren) with scissors, coloured pencils, and rulers. This will be used often this year. VCS does provide school supplies at the school store, but the selection is very limited. There has been a mix-up with the English books. On Monday please have students bring the Chatterbox series to class. I will collect them and distribute the correct books which are Family and Friends.
This year the students will be receiving a homework booklet for all EP subjects. This homework will be completed over a 1 month period, not 2 weeks as it was last year. This will be brought home when required and must be returned the next day to be checked.
